Marc JB is a DJ, producer and Bandleader, he is one half of the remix giants Bimbo Jones who have 30 club chart no.1s across the UK and the States.
If you are familiar with Bimbo Jones you will appreciate the cheeky funky electro nature of their sound. JB takes dirty funk electro to the dance floor as well. He originally came into Bimbo Jones as a multi instrumentalist playing everything from guitar, drums to keys and also an accomplished sound designer, producer and song writer. Listening to dance music 8 hours a day for 10 years has helped influence his passion for Djing.
JB and his studio partner DJ Lee Dagger's unique blend of talents have proven to be the basis for a successful partnership remixing a number of top artists including Pink, Janet Jackson, Usher, Deep Dish, Annie Lennox as well as more recently the Killers, Alphabeat¹s Fascinated¹, Britney¹s If you see Amy¹ and Ultra Nate¹s Give it all you got¹.
JB also remixes with Lee under his alias 'Max Jackson' producing a hard tech funky sound.
JB and Lee were introduced to South London house music vocalist Katherine Ellis they were signed to Tommy Boy records in the US, they have just released an album 'Harlem One Stop' and have had 2 club no.1s with their first 2 singles.
As a producer, JB (and DJ Lee Dagger) were co-producers on the no.1 hit by Meck, 'Thunder in my heart'.
